100s on Accessibility, SEO, and Agentic Browsing — both desktop and mobile. Performance is 98 on mobile, 88 on desktop. Best Practices is 77 on both, held back by the third-party cookies our analytics stack (GTM + GA4) needs to function. Captured 2026-05-18.

What this means + how we measured
What each score means for you
- Performance (98 mobile / 88 desktop): how fast the page becomes visible and interactive. Mobile is excellent. Desktop is held back by Total Blocking Time (290ms) from the analytics + monitoring chain loading early — a tradeoff for production analytics.
- Accessibility (100): the site works for everyone — screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, low vision, color blindness. WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.
- Best Practices (77): secure resources, no console errors, no broken links, no deprecated APIs. The 23-point gap is two checks failing by design: third-party cookies and the Issues panel warnings they generate — both come from Google Tag Manager + GA4, which we use for product analytics. Removing them would shrink visibility into what users do on the site; we've kept them and surfaced the trade-off here.
- SEO (100): search engines see everything they need — meta tags, structured data, mobile-friendly layouts. Google won't miss us.
- Agentic Browsing (100): AI shopping agents like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini can read, navigate, and understand every page. Increasingly important as AI starts driving discovery.
How we measured
Captured 2026-05-18 via PageSpeed Insights against the staging URL (https://shopify-benchmark.vercel.app). Same audit engine Google uses when ranking pages. Desktop is emulated standard desktop; mobile emulates a Moto G Power on a slow 4G connection (the standard real-user simulation). Re-run anytime via the verify link below — your numbers will be within a couple of points of these.

The Agentic Browsing category only shows in Chrome DevTools — PSI hasn't added it yet.
